Racing is a HUGE part of my life. My dad raced when I was little. Funny story-when I was a baby he rolled the car and my mom was so worried about him that she threw me up in the air and my uncle had to catch me. I guess that's probably when the racing bug got me:) I have been attending races my whole life so I guess it's no surprise that I married a racer. My husband has raced hobby stocks, sprint cars, and modifieds-both A mods and B mods, I have raced a front wheel drive car and now two of my three stepsons race. My youngest stepson has raced also so all 5 of us have been racers at one point in our lives! Six years ago tragedy struck our family. Our niece was diagnosed with cancer-I know what does this have to do with racing???? Well, we painted our cars pink (her favorite color) and for one night of racing we decided to raise money for Children's Miracle Network. This one night has turned into a HUGE event and has raised a lot of money to help families who have sick little ones and need some financial assitance. Pink My Ride has turned into a huge event and is such a worthy cause.
